Below, you'll see the latest development in my case in the federal court in Chicago:

1. Tuesday, 11/7/2006. The cross examination of the Israeli agent, Nadaf was over earlier today. The Government introduced another Israeli agent by the alias Benny. The direct and the cross examination might was over on Thursday 11/9. Simply, Both agents testified against the codefendants in the Case Mr. Mohammed Salah and denied any torture during the interrogation of Mr. salah or any other detainee in contrast to US report, Human right organizations about Israelis use of torture against detainees. The Israeli agents tried to show that the Shabak or Israeli Security Agency is a five star hotel.

2. Thursday 11/9/2006. The prosecutors introduced a former Israeli officer-Head of Environment department at Ben Gurion University in Beer Shevaa to testify against Mr. Mohammed salah. The direct and cross examination was wrapped up by 4:00 PM.

3. Thursday , 11/10, 4:00 PM. The Government started presenting its case against me but the process was halted due to some legal issues. However, the government will continue the process on Monday 11/13 by showing and playing some phone calls, faxes and some of the document seized from my apartment in 12/26 and 12/27, 1993. Friday was a holiday. The phone calls are about 30 calls out of 4000 hours of recorded calls during 1993 & 1994. Every documents or phone calls goes back to 1993 or 1994, simply before Hamas was designated as terrorist organization. The government says that my refusal to testify in 1998 and 2003 were acts in furtherance of conspiracy. It is a tough situation and please keep us in your Duaa.
